Businesses shipping LTL or larger freight shipments can now insure up to $100,000 per shipment. This increase supports higher value inventory, bulk restocking, and B2B freight movements where standard coverage limits may not be enough.

Pallet Coverage – Up to $10,000 Per Pallet

For palletized freight, insurance coverage has increased to $10,000 per pallet. This provides more precise protection when shipments are split across multiple pallets, helping businesses align coverage with how freight is actually shipped and handled.

 

Package Insurance – Up to $10,000 Per Box

For parcel shipments, insurance coverage has increased to $10,000 per box with select couriers*. This gives businesses added confidence when sending higher value packages through national courier networks.

ShipTime has also enhanced visibility for shipments by improving access to proof of delivery details directly in the platform. When supported by the courier, proof of delivery will now be available directly within the History & Tracking section of the ShipTime platform.

Depending on the courier and service level, proof of delivery may include:

– A delivery photo, or

– A recipient signature

Couriers provide one form of proof of delivery, not both, based on their capabilities and delivery method. This information is automatically attached to the shipment record once available, helping businesses confirm delivery and support insurance documentation when needed.
